  • Compatibility Note: Specifically for the 3.0L V6. It will not bolt to the 2.7L (3RZ) or 3.4L (5VZ) engines found in later T100 models without a bellhousing swap and input shaft verification.


JDM to USDM Installation & Technical Guide

To ensure a perfect fit for the T100's specific chassis layout, professional technicians recommend these steps:

  • Shifter Assembly: The T100 often has a specific shifter stick bend and console location. We recommend reusing your original USDM T100 Shifter Housing and Levers to ensure the gears fall into the factory positions in your cab.

  • Transfer Case & Speedo: JDM units usually come with a chain-driven transfer case. Verify your Speedometer Cable connection (Mechanical vs. Electronic) and your Driveshaft Flange patterns. If they differ, simply bolt your original USDM T100 Transfer Case onto the JDM transmission.

  • Electrical Switches: Transfer the Reverse Light Switch and the 4WD Engagement Switch from your original transmission to the JDM unit to ensure your dashboard indicators and lighting function without wiring modifications.

  • Clutch Components: Always install a new clutch disc, pressure plate, and throw-out bearing during the swap. Don't forget to replace the pilot bearing in the crankshaft to prevent input shaft noise.

  • Fluid Service: Fill with high-quality 75W-90 GL-4 or GL-5 Gear Oil. A full synthetic oil is highly recommended for the R150F to improve shift feel in cold climates.
