This engine is a direct long-block replacement for the following North American models:

• Toyota T100 (Regular Cab/SR5): 1993, 1994

• Chassis Compatibility: Also serves as a high-quality donor for 1989–1995 Toyota Pickup and 4Runner (3.0L models).

• Compatibility Note: This engine is for 3.0L V6 models only. It is not compatible with the 2.7L 3RZ-FE 4-cylinder or the later 1995+ 3.4L 5VZ-FE engines.

JDM to USDM Installation & Swap Guide

To ensure 100% compatibility and a seamless "Plug-and-Play" installation into your USDM T100, professional installers recommend the following "External Swap" steps:

1. Intake & Exhaust Manifolds: You must transfer your original USDM Intake Manifold and Exhaust Manifolds. JDM versions may have different vacuum port locations or lack the specific EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) ports required for US emissions.

2. Oil Pan & Pickup: If your T100 is 4WD, you must swap your original USDM Oil Pan and Pickup Tube. JDM pans (often from 2WD Hilux Surf vehicles) will not clear the T100 front differential or steering linkage.

3. Engine Sensors & Distributor: Transfer your original USDM Distributor, Spark Plug Wires, and Knock Sensor. This ensures your original wiring harness and ECU communicate perfectly with the engine.

4. Wiring Harness: Always retain and use your original USDM Engine Wiring Harness. JDM harnesses are configured for right-hand drive and will not interface with your chassis or fuse box.

5. Cooling System: Swap your original USDM Water Outlet and Thermostat Housing to ensure all heater and radiator hoses align perfectly with your T100's cooling system.

6. Timing Belt Maintenance: While the engine is out, we highly recommend replacing the Water Pump and Timing Belt to ensure another 100k miles of worry-free operation.
