  1. Intake & Exhaust Manifolds: You must transfer your original USDM Intake Manifold. JDM versions may have different vacuum configurations and often lack specific emissions sensors required for North American OBDII compliance.

  2. Wiring Harness: Always retain and use your original USDM Engine Wiring Harness. JDM harnesses are configured for right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles and will not reach the ECU or fuse box in a left-hand drive chassis.

  3. Engine Sensors: Transfer your original USDM Camshaft, Crankshaft, and Knock Sensors. Using your "known-good" factory electronics ensures the ECU receives the precise signals it expects for ignition and fueling.

  4. Oil System: The F20B utilizes a specialized oil pump. If installing in a 1996+ vehicle, you may need to transfer your original USDM oil pump assembly to accommodate the Crank Position Sensor (CKP).

  5. Fuel Rail: Transfer your original USDM fuel rail and injectors to ensure perfect fitment with your factory fuel lines and electrical connectors.
