Vehicle Fitment

This engine is a direct replacement for the following North American models:

  • Toyota Land Cruiser (UZJ100/FZJ100): 1998, 1999, 2000

  • Lexus LX450: (Verify specific year/ignition crossover)

  • Note: This is the Coil Pack version. If your vehicle has a Distributor, this engine can be used as a long block, but you must transfer your original ignition system and related components.

Installation & JDM Swap Notes

To ensure a successful installation into your 100-Series Land Cruiser:

  1. Component Transfer: You must transfer your original US-spec intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and all external sensors to the JDM long block to ensure 100% compatibility with your wiring harness and ECU.

  2. Ignition System: Confirm your vehicle uses the coil-on-plug setup. If swapping into an earlier model, you will need to reuse your original distributor and related drive gear.

  3. Oil Pan: Depending on your specific chassis, you may need to swap your original oil pan and pickup tube to ensure proper fitment over the front differential.

  4. Maintenance: While the engine is out, we highly recommend replacing the Front and Rear Main Seals, Water Pump, and Thermostat.
