This engine is a direct long-block replacement for the following North American models:

• Infiniti G35 Sedan: 2007, 2008 (V36 Chassis Only)

• Nissan 350Z: 2007, 2008 (HR Models)

• Infiniti EX35: 2008–2012

• Infiniti FX35: 2009–2012

• Compatibility Note: This is the Dual Intake HR model. It is not compatible with 2003–2006 G35 Sedans or 2003–2007 G35 Coupes equipped with the VQ35DE single-intake engine.

JDM to USDM Installation & Swap Guide

To ensure 100% compatibility and maintain your Infiniti’s sophisticated electronics, professional technicians recommend the following "External Swap" steps:

1. Wiring Harness: Always retain and use your original USDM Infiniti Engine Wiring Harness. JDM harnesses are configured for right-hand drive and will not interface with your G35's chassis computer or battery location.

2. Intake & Exhaust Manifolds: While the JDM dual-intake plenums are usually identical, we recommend transferring your original USDM Exhaust Manifolds to ensure all oxygen sensor (AFR) bungs align perfectly with your North American catalytic converters.

3. Engine Sensors: Transfer your original USDM Camshaft and Crankshaft Sensors to the JDM block. Nissan/Infiniti sensors are highly sensitive; using your original "known-good" sensors prevents intermittent signal issues or CEL codes.

4. AWD vs. RWD Note: If your G35 is a G35x (AWD), you must transfer your original USDM AWD Oil Pan and Pickup Tube to clear the front differential and axles.
