Oil Cooler & Lines: Thoroughly flush your original transmission cooler and lines before installation to prevent any debris from a previous failure from contaminating the JDM unit.
Transmission Fluid: Use only Genuine Honda ATF 2.0 fluid. These 10-speed units are highly sensitive to fluid type; using non-OEM fluid can lead to harsh shifts or premature wear.
TCM Programming: After installation, a professional scan tool may be required to perform a "Transmission Adaptive Pressure Reset" to help the computer learn the clutch engagement points of the new unit.
Axle Seals: While the unit is out, we strongly recommend installing new OEM axle seals to prevent future leaks.
