This engine serves as a direct long-block replacement for the following North American models:

• Honda Accord V6 (EX-L, Touring): 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012

• Compatibility Note: This is the VCM-equipped version. While the JDM J35A block and heads are physically compatible, you must transfer your original USDM external components (manifolds, sensors, and harness) to ensure 100% plug-and-play functionality with your Accord’s factory ECU.

JDM to USDM Installation & Swap Guide

To ensure 100% compatibility and resolve common V6 issues during the swap, professional technicians recommend the following steps:

1. Intake & Exhaust Manifolds: You must transfer your original USDM Intake Manifold and Exhaust Manifolds. JDM versions may differ in vacuum routing and lack specific sensors required for North American emissions compliance.

2. Wiring Harness: Always retain and use your original USDM Engine Wiring Harness. JDM harnesses are for RHD vehicles and will not interface with your Accord’s chassis or fuse box.

3. Engine Sensors: Transfer your original USDM Camshaft, Crankshaft, and Knock Sensors. Using your "known-good" original sensors prevents intermittent signal issues or Check Engine Lights.
