Vehicle Fitment

This transmission serves as a direct replacement for the following North American models:

• Nissan Rogue AWD (S, SV, SL, Special Edition): 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015

• Note on 2014-2015: This fits the Rogue Select (S35 chassis) and early 2nd Gen models using the JF011E platform. Please verify your transmission code on the B-pillar sticker.

• Compatibility Note: This is specifically for AWD models. It will not fit Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) Rogues due to the transfer case output configuration.

JDM to USDM Installation & Technical Guide

To ensure 100% OBDII compliance and prevent the TCM (Transmission Control Module) from triggering a "Check Engine" light, professional Nissan technicians recommend these critical steps:

• Sensors & Solenoid Transfer: You must transfer your original USDM Sensors & Solenoids to the JDM unit. This ensures the ROM data inside the solenoid assembly matches your vehicle's specific TCM calibration, avoiding costly dealer re-flashing.

• External Oil Cooler: It is mandatory to flush the transmission cooler lines and replace the external oil cooler filter (located behind the driver-side wheel well). If your previous CVT failed, metal glitter is likely trapped in the cooler and will destroy the JDM unit instantly if not cleared.

• Fluid Requirements: Use ONLY Nissan NS-2 CVT Fluid (unless your specific year calls for NS-3). Never use generic ATF or multi-vehicle CVT fluid, as this is the leading cause of premature belt failure in Nissan transmissions.

• AWD Transfer Case: Reuse your original USDM Transfer Case if the JDM unit does not perfectly match your driveshaft flange patterns.
