This engine is a direct long-block replacement for the following North American models:

• Lexus RC350 (Rear-Wheel Drive): 2015, 2016, 2017

• Compatibility Note: This is the Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) configuration. The oil pan and mounting locations differ from the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variants. Ensure your vehicle is a RWD model before ordering.

JDM to USDM Installation & Swap Guide

To ensure 100% compatibility and maintain your Lexus’s sophisticated electronics and emissions status, professional technicians recommend the following "External Swap" steps:

1. Intake & Exhaust Manifolds: You must transfer your original USDM Intake Manifold and Exhaust Manifolds. JDM versions may have different vacuum port layouts and lack specific emissions bungs required for North American OBDII compliance.

2. Wiring Harness: Always retain and use your original USDM Engine Wiring Harness. JDM harnesses are configured for right-hand drive and will not interface with your RC350’s chassis bulkheads or ECU.

3. Engine Sensors: Transfer your original USDM Camshaft and Crankshaft Sensors. Lexus electronics are highly sensitive; using your original "known-good" sensors prevents intermittent signal issues or Check Engine Light codes.

4. Fuel System Components: Transfer your USDM High-Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) and fuel rails to ensure the connectors match your factory harness and ECU pressure mapping perfectly.

5. Accessories & Brackets: Utilize your original USDM alternator, A/C compressor, and power steering brackets to ensure perfect belt alignment and clearance within the RC350 engine bay.

6. Oil Pan: Inspect the JDM oil pan. Depending on the donor chassis (e.g., Lexus Crown or Mark X), you may need to transfer your original USDM RC350 Oil Pan and Pickup Tube for proper subframe clearance.
