This engine is a direct replacement for the following North American models:

• Mazda MPV (LX, ES, LX-SV): 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006

• Note: This is the 3.0L V6 version. If you have a 2000-2001 MPV, you likely have the 2.5L GY-DE engine; please verify your engine size before ordering.

Important Installation & Swap Notes

To ensure 100% compatibility with your US-spec Mazda MPV and to satisfy emissions requirements, you must transfer the following components from your original engine to the JDM long block:

1. Intake Manifold & Throttle Body: To match your specific vacuum and sensor harness.

2. Exhaust Manifolds: To ensure fitment with your catalytic converters.

3. Engine Sensors: Including Camshaft (CMP) and Crankshaft (CKP) sensors.

4. Alternator & A/C Compressor: Use your original accessories to guarantee belt alignment.

5. Oil Pan: Inspect the JDM oil pan; some variants require swapping your original pan to clear the MPV subframe.

Recommended Maintenance: We strongly advise replacing the Water Pump, Thermostat, Spark Plugs, and Front/Rear Main Seals prior to installation for long-term reliability.
