This transmission serves as a direct replacement for the following North American models:

• Lexus SC430: 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010

• Compatibility Note: This is the 6-speed automatic. It will not fit the 2002–2005 SC430 models (which use the 5-speed A650E). Please verify that your shifter has the "S" mode (sequential shift) gate before ordering.

JDM to USDM Installation & Technical Guide

To maintain 100% OBDII compliance and ensure the seamless shifting your Lexus was built for, professional technicians recommend these critical steps:

• Internal Harness & Solenoids: You must transfer your original USDM Transmission Internal Wire Harness and Solenoids to the JDM unit. While the mechanical gears are identical, JDM electrical connectors often vary. Reusing your original USDM electronics ensures the ECU communicates perfectly and prevents "Check Engine" lights or shift codes.

• Neutral Safety Switch: Transfer your original USDM Neutral Safety Switch (Range Sensor). This ensures your dashboard gear indicator and the "Park/Neutral" starting safety circuit function exactly as intended.

• The "Sealed" Fluid Procedure: This transmission does not have a dipstick. It is mandatory to use Toyota ATF World Standard (WS) fluid. After installation, the fluid level must be set using the "overflow plug" method at a specific temperature (95°F - 113°F) for optimal longevity.

• Transmission Cooler Flush: Debris from a previously failed unit can hide in the lines. Flush the transmission cooler lines and radiator thoroughly to prevent contaminating your "new" JDM transmission.

• ECU Reset: We highly recommend a Transmission Adaptive Memory Reset via a professional scan tool to allow the ECU to learn the fresh clutch tolerances of the JDM unit.
