Vehicle Fitment

This transmission serves as a direct replacement for the following North American models:

• Toyota Corolla (Base, LE, S, L): 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013

• Toyota Corolla (11th Gen Early): 2014, 2015 (Equipped with the 4-speed automatic gearbox)

• Toyota Matrix (1.8L Models): 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013

• Compatibility Note: Specifically for the 1.8L 2ZR-FE engine. It will not fit the 2.4L (2AZ-FE) models or vehicles equipped with the CVT transmission (common on 2014+ higher trims).

JDM to USDM Installation & Technical Guide

To ensure 100% OBDII compliance and a "plug-and-play" experience, professional Toyota technicians recommend these steps:

• Solenoid & Internal Harness Transfer: You must transfer your original USDM Transmission Wiring Harness and Solenoids from your old transmission to the JDM unit. JDM electrical plugs can vary in shape or pin count; using your original electronics ensures the ECU communicates perfectly and prevents "Check Engine" lights (MIL).

• Front Bellhousing: Must swap over your front USDM Bellhousing as the JDM Casing has a different bolt line up variation.

• Neutral Safety Switch: Transfer your original USDM Neutral Safety Switch (Range Sensor) to ensure your gear indicator and starting circuit function exactly as they did before.

• Oil Cooler Flush: It is mandatory to flush your transmission cooler lines and radiator. Debris from a failed transmission can hide in the lines and will destroy your "new" JDM unit if not properly cleared out.

• Fluid Requirements: Use only high-quality Toyota ATF World Standard (WS) fluid. Do not use older T-IV or generic multi-vehicle fluids, as the U341E is specifically designed for the lower-viscosity WS fluid.
