Why JDM Engines Are Worth Importing

Japan's shaken inspection laws make older vehicles expensive to keep on the road, so engines are retired with far less wear than comparable U.S. units — typically 45,000–65,000 miles. That's the upside. The downside only appears when a seller skips verification. We don't.

Our 5-Step Verification Process

1. Source Authentication

Every engine is hand-picked from vetted Japanese auction yards and dismantlers — no mystery containers.

2. Compression & Leak-Down Testing

We compression-test each cylinder and document the readings. Engines outside spec are rejected, not discounted and dumped on you.

3. Visual & Fluid Inspection

We pull the oil cap and dipstick and inspect for milky residue or rust — the tell-tale signs of water intrusion that burn buyers on other sites.

4. Mileage Verification
